It's not well known that George Washington (1787) was also a prolific writer. He was one of the most active intellectual and moral forces of his time. His principles of government had more influence on the early development of America than those of any other man.
Fast Forward (2010). It concerns me that we have elected a person that does not value our national history. That same individual has, not surprisingly, appointed a cabinet of like minded officers and political leaders. The result is a government that choses to defy and ignore our Constitution and other founding documents.
For the first time in my lifetime America has produced and elected a number of radical political leaders who threaten our national existance. Our country is being poisoned from within, and it's historic priciples are falling one by one.
Our political leadership (2010) is sadly incompetent. They are not the same as patriotic liberal Democrats of the past. They are from the fringe of the ultra-radical, liberal-Socialist Party. Where ever these mis-guided people have gained control of the government, they have failed.
Despite all of the proven failures of BIG GOVERNMENT CONTROLS ALL political systems, our present leadership is desperately trying to emulate them. Obviously, we have elected and appointed incompetents. How should we deal with the problem?
Back to old George Washington:
"The power under the Constitution will always be in the people. It is entrusted for certain defined purposes, and for a certain limited period, to representatives of their own choosing; and whenever it is executed contrary to their wishes, their servants can, and undoubtably will, be recalled."
